2013年7月4日「モバイル英語学習]第184号(英語学習法): A Very Unusual College

************************
I met a university professor from the U.S. in the second week of June. He was already on his summer vacation, and he was traveling in Japan for 3 weeks. He works at a very unusual college in the U.S. The professors there don’t teach special subjects. They have small classes about language, music and mathematics. They don’t use modern textbooks. They read Western classics such as Plato, Charles Darwin, the Bible, and Shakespeare. The professor said that this was real education because it makes you think deeply about things. (by Prof. Douglas Jarrell)
