Do you know a card game called “I doubt it”? The rules are very easy. You deal out all the cards. Each player takes turns and puts down cards in order: ace, one, two, three, etc. They put them face down. They have to put down a card even if they don’t have the right one. They say the number of cards, for example, “3 aces” or “2 ones.” If you think they are lying, you say “I doubt it” and turn over the cards. If they are lying, they pick up all the cards. If they are telling the truth, you pick them up. I tried this game with some children, but they couldn’t do it. They didn’t know how to lie. (by Prof. Douglas Jarrell)
