People can live about 100 years. What about fish? Well, a man caught a 200-year-old fish off the coast of Alaska. Henry Liebman, who lives in Seattle, Washington, has been deep-sea fishing for years, but he came back with the biggest rockfish ever caught on June 21. It was longer than 1 meter. Most fish stop growing, but the rockfish just keeps getting bigger. You can tell the age of a rockfish not only by its size but also by its ear bone. The bone grows one ring every year, just like a tree. Scientists are checking the ear bone now to find out the exact age. (by Prof. Douglas Jarrell)
