Today is the official start of the Tokyo 2020 Paralympics. The opening ceremony will be held at the Olympic Stadium this evening, but the games don’t start until tomorrow. Athletes from more than 160 different countries will take part in 22 sports. I’m looking forward to seeing men’s wheelchair tennis because I’m a fan of Kunieda Shingo. I also want to see goalball. It’s like soccer, but the people who play it are visually impaired (they cannot see well). Everyone wears goggles, and they have to listen for the ball which has a small bell inside.
