Some companies in Europe are using AI to solve problems. One problem is shoplifting, when people steal things from stores. A French company called Veesion makes special software to watch stores using cameras. The AI can find strange movements, like hiding items in a coat. This helps stores catch shoplifters and reduces stealing by 60%. Over 4,000 stores in 25 countries use this system. Veesion’s software is also better than face-recognition because it focuses on body movements, not faces.

Another company, SourceWhale from the UK, uses AI to help recruitment companies. These companies help people find jobs. The AI saves time by doing boring office tasks automatically, like sending emails and collecting data. This makes work faster and helps companies make more money. SourceWhale became very successful during the COVID-19 pandemic when recruitment was hard. Now, many companies use it to improve their business.
