Yesterday was the first day of school for many children in central Japan. It must have been very exciting, especially for the first-year children in elementary school and junior high school. They went into their new schools and met their classmates for the first time. This usually happens at the beginning of April, but because of the COVID-19 emergency, schools were closed until now. The parents of all the schoolchildren are also excited because their children can get out of the house. Being together as a family 24 hours a day can make everyone uncomfortable.
