What are the most popular names of the Heisei era? The Meiji Yasuda Life Insurance Company has just announced that the most popular name for boys is Shota. For girls, it’s Misaki. Do you know anyone with one of these first names? I don’t have any students named Shota because there are no boys at my university. I do know at least one student named Misaki. Meiji Yasuda also announced the most popular names for babies in 2018. The most popular girl’s name is Yuzuki. For boys, it’s Ren.
